Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
BS in Chemistry is a four-year degree program designed to teach students the conduct of standard laboratory procedures involved in chemistry and the use of chemical instrumentation in analytical and synthetic work. Important skills such as monitoring, observation, and measurement of chemical properties, systematic recording, and documentation are also included in its curriculum. Students will be knowledgeable about designing experiments and identifying the limitations of every experimental approach.

Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry
BS in Biochemistry is the branch of science concerned with the chemistry of biomolecules (proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleic acids) and chemical processes of life. It is multidisciplinary, standing at the crossroads between the physical sciences (chemistry and physics) and the life sciences (botany, zoology, microbiology, and genetics). The BS Biochemistry program offers students the understanding of the structure and function of biomolecules, studying the way these molecules are organized, and the interactions that take place among them in order to maintain life processes. This four-year pre-medicine program equips the students with the fundamental principles and theories, as well as applications in research and industry.

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Material Science Engineering
BS in Chemistry with Material Science Engineering is the response to the needs of the 21st century technologies for new materials and devices with special properties by integrating the knowledge and tools of chemistry and physics with engineering principles to design, fabricate and characterize improved and novel materials such as polymers, biodegradable plastics, biocompatible materials; ceramics, metals, and composites for stronger structural materials; semi-conductors for more efficient electronic devices; longerlasting paints, coatings and corrosion resistant materials; and many others. This recently-introduced program is a five-year dualmajor program where the students obtain a B.S. Chemistry after four years and a B.S. Materials Science and Engineering (BS MSE) after the fifth year. The B.S. Chemistry program combines a strong foundation in chemistry with a focus on materials through specialized electives. The combined five-year program provides competencies for careers in industry, especially in the areas of semiconductors, plastics, rubber, paints and resins, ceramics, textiles, food, or even cosmetics. Graduates are eligible to take the Chemist Licensure Examinations.

The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) is a four-year degree program designed to provide students with the technical knowledge in crop raising, agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, integrated pest management, seed conditioning and technology and other areas related to production and quality control in the food and fiber industry. It also teaches students about livestock raising and managing a farm and agribusiness. The BS in Agriculture program helps students understand modern farming by teaching them the process and techniques in identifying, diagnosing, and analyzing problems and in designing, packaging, and applying technologies needed in the development and conservation of agriculture and food system resources.
